Section 40H (“Observers Accreditation Committee”)(l) of the principal Act is amended by the insertion after paragraph (g) of the following paragraph – “and (h) one person nominated by the Minister responsible for women’s affairs, gender or community development.”.

(1) Section 36A (“New registration of voters”) of the principal Act is amended by the repeal of subsections (3), (4) and (5). (2) The amendment made by subsection (1) is deemed to have taken effect on the 14th September, 2017.
