Phillipa Phillips is a lawyer by profession and a Partner at Phillips Law, a local boutique law firm specializing in Immigration & Citizenship, Compliance and Corporate Law. Phillipa obtained her BA (Private Law and French) then an LLB degree from the University of Cape Town, she proceeded to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) from Temple University in Pennsylvania, USA. She is also an admitted Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. Whilst in the United States, Phillipa established and ran her own law firm in Pennsylvania, under the name Mabuye, Phillips USA Inc. She left the law firm to settle in Zimbabwe. Phillipa was previously employed at Scanlen & Holderness where she was the head of the Immigration Department, prior to which she worked as a Law Officer at the Attorney General’s Office, representing the state in various cases and rendered legal advice to different ministries. She sits on the Zimbabwe Women’s Bureau board, the Council of the Institute of Directors and serves as trustee of several other organizations. Bianca is an Associate with the firm who joined the firm in 2020. She graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in the 2017 with a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree. Prior to joining the firm, Bianca worked as a Magistrate for two years. She is an avid researcher and is interested in Civil and Criminal Litigation which areas of law she was exposed to during the time she served on the bench. She has a particular interest in corporate law, family law, and wildlife law.
She enjoys volunteer work and served as an active member of the University of Zimbabwe Legal Aid Clinic. She currently is a board member of a rising youth empowerment group called Impact.
Outside of her legal interests, Bianca enjoys African Literature, writing and travelling.

Charlotte is an accomplished, energetic, and reliable office manager. She is responsible for the administration of the firm. Her deep knowledge and understanding of the workforce allows her to provide management and leadership to our team. Charlotte has worked in various areas and is specifically responsible for, among other things procurement, immigration matters and the human resources aspect of the firm.

Gwinyai joined Phillips Law from inception after having worked as a freelance IT consultant in the United Kingdom for 7 years. He is responsible for crafting and implementing the law firm’s ICT policy, network infrastructure, data protection and disaster recovery procedures. He is a technology enthusiast who ensures that Phillips Law utilises industry best practises when it comes to their ICT systems.
Ayanda joined the firm in April 2015 as an Administrator and is a key member of the team. She has a keen interest in the law and provides both clerical and administrative support within the firm. She is a goal driven individual as well as a team player. She has a great interest in travelling and sports and also enjoys reading a good book.
Gregory G. Masvikeni recently joined the firm having completed his paralegal studies with Boston College in South Africa. Greg is the recipient of a Phillips Law Scholarship awarded to promising law students. He is currently preparing to enrol for his Law degree. Greg has a keen interest in empowering people to know their legal rights.
