Kindly note that individuals who would like to exit Zimbabwe on a Zimbabwean passport or have a Zimbabwean residence permit on a foreign passport with the intention of returning must approach Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Immigration and submit the following documents:

– Passport Copy (of all passengers if travelling);
– Copy of Residence Permit (if any);
– Letter Addressed to Ministry of Home Affairs stating intended date of travel & return, intended travellers and reason for travel;
– Supporting Documents to prove reason for travel (schooling certificate/doctors letters/ birth certificate/death certificate etc./other official documentation to prove reason for travel)

Kindly note that they would prefer 3-4 days working period to approve unless in the case of an emergency.
